Job Description

Flames Burgers & Grill is seeking a motivated and experienced Kitchen Chef / Grill Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flame-grilled burgers and café-style dishes while maintaining speed, consistency, and kitchen standards. You will play a key role in daily kitchen operations and contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and cook flame-grilled burgers, breakfast items, and café menu dishes
Follow standard recipes to ensure consistent taste and presentation
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
Manage prep work, stock rotation, and ingredient storage
Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
Work closely with team members to meet service and quality expectations
Assist in minimising food waste and maintaining cost control

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, or Grill Chef preferred
Knowledge of burger, grill, or café-style cooking is an advantage
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and time-management skills
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Valid right to work in Australia
